I appreciate any ideas and help you all might have.IP: Uncle Bobby. Jcb warning lights. Hi all, am new to the site and new owner of a Doesn't seem to affect performance although I've not much experience other than about 30 hours on a new hire and about hours on a Sumitomo SH30 I used to own. I've got a buzzer and a red light for charge and hydraulic pressure I think, but nothing else, ie.
The pre-heat is a green light on a blank button, but I guess that's a late addition together perhaps with the extra hour clock that doesn't work? Also, anyone know if hyd oil should be 32 or 46?Door lock tala
Re: Jcb warning lights. Thanks for that d4, hoping to get my hands on a manual soon. Had hoped that regular hyd oil level checks and top ups would keep things in order for the time being, and then try to track the leak down some time later on, or does a leak mean other possible problems - perhaps due to very slightly lower pressure on the relevant circuit - although the red warning light goes out which I guess is hyd oil pressure?
May be worth checking the alternator belt regarding the charge lights. The rear left weight is easily removed to get to the pump. The fittings tend to leak where they go into the pump due to the steel U pipe moves over time. People can over tighten the fittings and either pull the thread from the pump or split the pump body. Yes, looks like the leak is possibly from one of the steel U pipes where it enters the pump.
Tried to get a spanner on it but limited access made this tricky, so when I've got more time will try again. Oil level is good and have topped up with 46 for now. Think I've got a red charge light and another red light which I suppose could be hyd oil level instead of pressure. Both go out on start-up, as did the buzzer before it gave up yesterday, but the horn did start working to compensate!
Just surprised there's no warning lights for engine oil pressure or temp? Thank you very much D4. So a quick look confirms hyd oil 46 is right so thats one thing. Will study this a bit more to try to solve the warning lights expected and any missing ones - pretty sure there's a pressure sensor on the engine block, so perhaps all it has is engine oil pressure and charge and nothing else, although there's lots of electrical connectors under the right arm rest, but nowhere to plug them into on the console, just a big multi-pin into the LCD, a horn, boom light, ignition and pre-heat.
Hopefully the manual will shed some more light on it. No wires on the air filter I don't think - suspect this is a basic model so nothing too fancy here and its a model.
Mind you, my '76 David Brown has more info than this on dash so I'm surprised only to have 2 warning lights on the ! Lamp on the symbol is like an upside down bulb shape, with a tear drop inside it, and two horizontal arrows each side facing toward the centre - suggesting to me oil pressure, just not sure whether engine or hyd, but guessing now its engine not hydraulic.

Any car has all the 64 Indicators When does a battery low light come up? Having replaced 2 batteries in both petrol and diesel car I've never encountered this light and it was only when the car wouldn't crank was the battery issue identified.
I'm looking at the logic when this light is supposed to light up as programmed by the manufacturers. Thanks for sharing. Please contribute such threads for the benefit of all others. Very Informative indeed, though as is being said here this might not be a case where all the indicators were active at the same time.
The final picture could be a a collage of various indicators that were active at various points of time and could have been easily merged together to create the final "all indicators lit" effect, as the positions of the indicators do not change.Modern cars are becoming increasingly more complex with the addition of new technologies and features.
